Our home for the week will be the Tierra de Yoga Retreat and Wellness Center. It is truly a magical location, seated in the lush rain forest with nature at your door. The resort is a few steps away from a private exceptional beach area, surrounded by, and located in one of the world's most charming and authentic tropical beach towns of Puerto Viejo. “Tierra de Yoga” has created a recipe for good health, relaxation, and a home away from home. Howling monkeys, long walks, exciting excursions and simply peaceful bike rides through the serene and mystical roads await you in this beautiful environment. Tierra de Yoga Retreat Center will help you find the often necessary STOP and get back to your enjoyment and embrace of the simple things in life.

Our unique retreat center offers 100% organic and healthy meals hosted by our partner Tierra de Suenos Wellness Center and very well known organic and raw food restaurant. Our beautiful eco cleanse spa facilities include a meditation area, infrared sauna and acupuncture therapist, and the areas largest and most serene outdoor training pavilion. In your free time, enjoy the tea room and juice center, yoga boutique, and get a chance to really discover the healing herbs, therapies and techniques from our onsite team of doctors, therapists and specialists in the Tierra de Suenos Wellness Center. Tierra de Yoga also offers exciting local excursions, entertainment and tranquil luxury accommodations located in the heart of the jungle. 

Retreat Accommodations

Tierra de Yoga offers 7gorgeous hardwood bungalows that are set in the lush nature scape of our property. Our bungalows are adorned with your choice of queen size beds, or for shared accomodations, 2 singles per bungalow. Each Bungalow is supplied with all bedding and soft organic bamboo/cotton towels. Each ecotourist-minded bungalow has a different theme expressed in the hand carved wood, tile mosaics, painted murals, and artistic details. Enjoy hot showers and cool breezes from the overhead fan and large screened windows.

While staying in one of our bungalows you can experience ecotourism by getting close to nature, sleeping to the sounds of the jungle and relaxing in the hammock on your front porch. Observe heliconias, gingers, sloths, humming birds, howler monkeys, toucans and much more.
